SCHEDULE OF BWG WALKS: Jan 2020 to "End-of-Lockdown"

 TO ALL MEMBERS (and Friends) of BLARNEY WALKING GROUP:

Here’s hoping that you are all safely cocooned and in good health.
You can scroll down to see our Walks Schedule as of January – but then,
thanks to that nasty little C-19 virus, everything after early March has become purely aspirational only
😊

The first of the planned events to go-by-the-board was our annual outing to the Cairngorms, and subsequently the onward march of C-19 meant that we all had to retreat to the safety of our ‘family cocoons’ and postpone all walks except for short strolls near to home.

MEANWHILE, PLEASE always bear in mind  that C-19 is your deadly enemy and will do its utmost to kill you.  Therefore
* STAY SAFE, STAY INDOORS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.
* WEAR AN EFFECTIVE FACE-MASK WHENEVER YOU LEAVE HOME
      FOR PLACES  WHERE OTHER PEOPLE ARE ABOUT.
* STOP TOUCHING YOUR FACE.
* WASH YOUR HANDS THOROUGHLY AND REGULARLY.

GET IN THE HABIT OF CARRYING A MINI-CONTAINER OF HAND
      SANITISER WITH YOU and USE IT to kill off those C-19 invaders.

Here follows a recent mailshot from Mountaineering Ireland.

“Climb if you will, but remember that courage and strength are nought without prudence,
and that a momentary negligence may destroy the happiness of a lifetime.
Do nothing in haste; look well to each step; and from the beginning think what may be the end.”
